Go shorty, it’s our birthday!

We decided for this ONE TIME ONLY, we would allow the human to post in the blog. We decided to give her temporary permission because she got us lots of gifts for our birthday and she promised to make this post about how great we are.

Before she takes over, we want to say thank you to our awesome mom, Loom. She is the best mom we could ask for.

As far as the human, we apologize in advance if it gets a little weird. She is weird.

My sweet Chevy, ChevARoni, Bubby. You are a walking heart. So sensitive, dramatic and aware of everything around you. You spend your days playing, sleeping, or checking on me and Argy. You have opinions about everything and share them openly. You are just the sweetest ever. And you never seem to mind me singing, "My baby boy..." to you, so thanks for tolerating that.

My sweet, sweet Argy. My Bubba, Mr. Argerson, you are so silly, inquisitive and obsessed with plumbing. But you are also fiercely loyal and loving. My heart melts every time you do your little dance when I walk into the room. You are always so responsive to Chevy’s cries. I feel safer knowing you are here to protect us. You give the best aggressive cuddles. They are

brief but I know they come from that sweet big heart of yours. I knew the day I adopted the two of you I was making a difference in your lives. I expected you would make my life better too. But I didn’t expect the two of you to affect my life so profoundly.

As someone who struggles with anxiety, you have helped me find humor in the day to day. You have helped me focus on what is important - playtime, enjoying every moment and following your true passion, even if no one else understands. I am reminded to be myself all the time. I never expected two furry fellas from CT to teach me life lessons. I am so grateful to call you mine. And as I say to you every day, you are the best two guys around.

Happy 1st Birthday Loomerson fellas. You won’t get spoiled like this every year, so enjoy it this time. And start looking for a job to pay for your own bathrooms.
